Application
Controlled calmness of bees.
The product has been developed for those beekeepers who want to avoid, or for health reasons should avoid, smoke from burning wood decay or certain plants.
It is also an excellent method when several apiaries need to be visited in one day or for apiaries located in the forest.
CALM-VET, is an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional hoover and a way to even out the smell in the hive environment without compromising the health of the beekeeper and the bees.
CALM-VET provides an eco-friendly way to calm a bee colony and equalise the odour in the beehive environment. Applying herbal essential oils affects the bees’ sense of smell. This reaction lasts for more than 10 minutes, a period perfect to complete a planned inspection, after which everything goes back to normal.
EFFICIENCY:
3 ml per 1 litre of water
200 ml per 66 litres of water
Instructions for use
Shake vigorously before use.
Mix 3 ml in 1 litre of water. Use a garden sprayer to cover the bees with ‘mist’. The quantity of the product applied can be increased depending on the level of bee colony aggression. Spray the beehive entrance and bees around it 2-3 minutes prior to opening the beehive. After opening the beehive, re-spray the bees. After mixing with water CALM-VET retains its properties for 3 days.
For use during the whole bee-keeping season.

Dextrose, magnesium, vitamin A, eucalyptus globulus oil, peppermint oil.
