Application

The pure protein isolates contained in PROTI-VET are high quality assimilable protein that ideally supplements the lack of protein in the bees’ diet. The product does not contain soya protein. For use in sugar syrup, in honey-and-sugar feeding cake or in its pure form.
WHEN TO USE
IN SPRING – in order to quickly bring the colony into excellent condition (depending on technical possibilities, give in syrup or in cake, or gently sprinkle the uncapped frames with food).
DURING THE SEASON – in the absence of pollen to stimulate brood, prolong the life of the worker bees and strengthen the immune system (nutritional prevention to strengthen the colony against bacterial, viral, fungal infections).
IN AUTUMN – to prepare colonies for overwintering, administer in several portions so that the bees build up reserves to be consumed in early spring, ensuring the expected development at the start of the new season.
EFFICIENCY:
500 g to prepare 50 I of syrup
4 kg to prepare 400 I of syrup
Instructions for use
For 1 litre of 1:1 or 3:2 sugar syrup, add 10 g PROTI-VET (1 tablespoon).
Temperature of the syrup from 30°C to 40°C.
Pre-dilute a measured amount of PROTI-VET in clean, warm water, then pour this solution (pre-mix) into the warm syrup maintaining the above ratio.
In the case of severe protein deficiency in a bee colony, the amount of PROTI-VET can be increased to 20 g / 1 litre of syrup (2 tablespoons); higher amounts than recommended should be consulted with a specialist in commercial insect diseases.
When preparing honey-and-sugar feeding cake, mix 10-20 g /1 kg of feeding cake (1-2 tablespoons).
